Technical photography
e.g. fabrics - IR image removes colours and enhances the structure, so irregularities and stains can be easily spotted.
Dark glass may become transparent (sunglasses, etc).

CSI & Forensics

Infrared and ultraviolet photography is used in document analysis, for visualization of stains, residue, bruises, etc.

Medical use
The image of the subcutaneous blood vessel structure and haematoma is significantly enhanced.

Long distance / aerial photography
Infrared photography greatly reduces the atmospheric haze. Vegetated areas are bright, urban areas are dark, water appears as almost black. A 750 nm filter used.


Night photography with "invisible" light
The cameras are compatible with most IR light sources (best 850 nm) - Night images of undisturbed wild animals, etc.



Ghost hunting
Some UV and huge Infrared capability and versatility make this camera a perfect tool for a modern ghost hunter - day or night.
